Stuart graduated from St Mary’s University College with a BSc (Hons) degree in Sport Rehabilitation. Whilst at University Stuart trained at the National Endurance Performance Centre for middle-distance running. This enabled Stuart to train as a full time athlete and to experience first hand what it takes to come back from various injuries. During studying for his degree Stuart became a level 4 qualified masseur and is member of SMA (Sports Massage Association). This enabled Stuart to gain hands on experience by massaging athletes from a recreational to elite level. Since graduating in June, Stuart has been working with Newham and Essex Beagles Athletics Club (winners of the National title). Stuart is also a category 1 golfer (handicap 5); he is a member at Harewood Downs Golf Club in Buckinghamshire and won his County Scratch title in 2004.
