Meet the Team

Lesley Haig   BSc(Hons), MSi Physiotherapy, MCSP   Chartered Physiotherapist

Lesley works part-time at Sport Dimensions and as a Lecturer at St. Mary’s University College in Twickenham, where she runs a Masters programme in Sport & Exercise Rehabilitation. Lesley trained as a Physiotherapist at St Thomas’ Hospital, London, qualifying in1990. She completed a Physiotherapy Masters degree at University of East London in 1994 and has been working as a Sports Physiotherapist for over 15 years in both NHS and private clinics around London, and as a research physiotherapist. She has worked with a range of elite and recreational athletes of all ages and from a number of sports including: football, rugby, gymnastics, golf, kayaking, track and field and distance running. Lesley has particular interests in high level knee, shoulder and spinal rehabilitation. She played National League Hockey for several years and has a passion for distance running – she is planning to run her next marathon in 2009.
